Kill the Stroke!! (Answer blog)

Ok. So here I am, explaining how easy it is to shift between the Stroke and Fill tools on Adobe InDesign. Sometimes it's quite bothersome to scroll over the mouse to the toolbar to use one of these tools, well here is a simple way. To shift bewteen Stroke and fill, simply press X. No not Z, not Y, and certainly not "I spy cocanuts.". Just X to shift from Stroke to fill. However, for example, if say you have the Stroke with a blue hue of colour but want that colour to be using that colour for Fill, then press the Shift key and then the X key. That way your desired colour is then transfered to the Fill tool.

Truth be told...I wish we had a different subject to blog about then this. No offense.

A Bad Situation Turned Good

 Q) Have you been in a bad situation where changing your tone with someone else has made the situation more positive?

A) Yes, I believe I have. But the memory was such a long time ago, it's a bit fuzzy to me to recall now. But I had done exactly that and the situation did not result in bloodshed.

A) I guess here in College Hieghts? Or I could be wrong...the first time I had heard of this is here in College Hieghts.

Q) Have you performed a random act of kindness recently?

A) Uh...Maybe a few times? I have said hi, held open doors, nothing special. But it's hard to do when someone is being a jerk.

Q) If not, what could you do to randomly help someone else?

A) Help them. Help them with homework, open doors, say hi, buy them lunch. You know the usual. But I would only do that if they weren't being idiots.

Q) Have you ever had a favourite teacher, a teacher that you feel has really been a true mentor who has helped you to learn better, someone who you feel has done an outstanding job teaching you?

A) I can't say I have one true favorite teacher, in fact I have had a few. I eaqually like them all but I will not choose one for the sake of equality. (Pfft!! I sound like some old guy you find on a moutain top that teaches some sort of weird special ability in a story! XD) But if I did have to choose...it'll be Ms. Schaffer. As an art teacher, she has helped me through many art projects and I have always been on her nerves about late assignments. She's really helped me, with what though I cannot remember. But she DID help me, that's for certain. =D

Q) What year did Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak start their first computer company?


A) It was the year of 1980 when Apple went public. Lucky guys even became millionares.

Q) What was the name of their first computer?

A) Her name was Lisa. Sadly the computer failed horribly and I guess they threw her out. Hey, not every first project is a winner. It just takes practice.

Q) Name a current Apple device that you are currently using or would like to use?

A) Hmm...I guess that would be the IPod. I would like to get one, not an IPhone but an IPod. It seems to me that the IPhone is just going to cause too much trouble for me.

The first full week.

Q) Name 3 things that have increased your interest and made the week (and a half) a little more exciting.  Explain in full sentence form (minimum of 3 sentences).

A) 3 things that have increased my interest?

1: Hmm...I'd guess it's Photoshop for starters. Lately I have been into drawing on photoshop and playing around with the awesomesauce effects, so I'm glad we're using photoshop again this year...and hopefully it won't be used in class for making those dingbat page layouts...AGAIN.

2: ...I would type it down but it could potentally be the subject for teasing, so you know what? I'm not giving any one of you a chance to know it.

3: 2 words and a few numbers. FINAL FANTASY IX, X, X-2, and XIII.

First post of the school year

Q) What do you want from this course that will help you in your career furture?

A) I want to gain more experience at using photoshop so I can create better pictures. With computer experience at my side, I can create amazing comic pages for my desired career of a graphic novelist.

"Life of a pencil"

Q) What job(s) did you have in the making of your video?

A) I had 2 jobs. My first was to be the main character, who goes to sleep and ends up magically turning into a pencil. My second part was being the camera man.

Q) What was the hardest part of creating yoru video?

A) Getting my partner to cooperate. I tell yah, she didn't want to do it at first and was as stubborn as a horse to not do it. But we got the thing done.

Q) What was the most enjoyable part?

A) I've got to say it was the ending where we could just watch our stupid mistakes and laugh our collective heads off. After all, if you can't laugh at yourself then who can you laugh at?

Career Crusing Investigation

Q) Do you feel that you have learned about a field that might offer you a profitable future?

A) Che'yeah I do! Being a graphic author can be very profitable. If I go into this line of work then not only will I be having fun, but I'll be getting lots of cash! Talk about a bonus! Ah, ah, ah! However! I cannot be greedy with the money I would get from this. After all, isn't that what sends most people into a world of blindness?

Q) Does this require you to go to college after high school?

A) Not really. There is no formal training for this job, it just allows you to expand your knowledge of the subject.

Q) Out of a range of 1 to 10, what is the chance of you going in this direction? Explain your plan at this point.

A) I'd say...10. But that's just my guess, based on the results of my career matchmaker page. Trust me I am not being cocky by giving myself a 10, I'm judging myself fairly. My plan...? Hmm...that's a toughie. I think I'll just get a normal paying job for now and just test the waters for now.

Where and when did Mother's Day originate or start?

According to wiki, Mother's day was orginanally festivals dedicated to goddesses in ancient times. Somewhere along the way, it soon became dedicated to actual mothers.

What do you plan to do for your mom on this Mother's Day weekend?

Something that would make her happy. To make her smile. And to those freaks out there reading this and thinking pervy thoughts, go into a hole and rot, your perverted minds are not meant to be here.

How accurate is the weather?

Is forcasting the weather a simple task or a very complex task?
-It's not rocket science. Weather predicting is not always correct. In some places of the world, the weather can be very unpredictable because of the temprature or how close you are to the equator.

How does the accuracy of the weather forcast of today, compare to the accuracy of 20 years ago?
-One simple thing my dear readers, they didn't have same technology we do now in today's world.
